Lincoln, Ill.- Marquisha Dunn, a sophomore at Lincoln College, wanted to make an impact at Lincoln College.  Dunn wanted to remind people that gun violence is real and that people from our school are affected. Recently,  her sorority, XI Sigma Alpha, dedicated part of their lunch hours to giving orange flags to students and having them write a name on the flag of anyone who has been affected by gun violence. The flags go along with a documentary called “Too Many To Count On Hands.” The documentary focuses on the gun violence that occurs within the Chicago area and the students that are from there that go to LC, it was also made by Lincoln College Senior, Chris Garcia. The documentary was featured at the Lincoln Film Festival this year. The memorial was up through Homecoming Week.
