Lincoln, IL – The leaves are changing, harvest has begun, and the wildlife is gearing up for another winter out at the Lincoln College ”Creekside Outdoor Center for Environmental Education”.  Within the past year Creekside has more than doubled its trails and opportunity for learning. In the last six months the school has granted access to extend the property of the environmental center to more than twice its original size. This also includes approximately 500 plus feet of fishable river bank.  As of two weeks ago there was really no way of accessing the new portion of the property because the brush was still overgrown. Lincoln College student, Austin Picton, volunteered a full day of work and went out and cut new trails. Visit the center and the new trails any day from dusk to dawn.
